Notes
Recorded at Sputnik Studios, Franklin, TN.Mixed at East Iris Recording Studios, Nashville, TN.
The 1st disc of this release is the same as the regular release, while the second disc includes two bonus songs as 128kbps mp3s, behind-the-scenes interviews, self-produced music music video for 'Show You Love', screensavers, buddy icons, wallpapers, slide show and a 'create your own fan site' tool kit. Initially, these limited edition releases came in a dual-case digipak, then they were switched to a regular 2-disc jewel case.
'Faith Enough' was inspired by a line from Ernest Hemingway's 'A Farewell To Arms' that reads: "The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places."
There is a story the band recounts in the booklet regarding 'Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet' that reads: "We originally heard this song on a Gavin Bryars recording. It was a 72 minute loop of a homeless man singing this simple chorus over and over. The contrast of one so lowly expressing such certain and simple faith was and continues to be nothing short of astounding. The power of Gavin's recording is a testimony to one of this world's most profound and sacred mysteries: though they suffer... they have joy. Through our recent work with Blood:Water Mission we have been privileged to witness afresh this holy mystery. We dedicated this song and its proceeds to our brothers and sisters in Africa who, though they suffer, overwhelm us with their life and their joy."
